The client wanted me to match the exposed rafters to the Fireplace mantle of "real" Knotty Pine. While in the process of creating this "Faux Knotty Pine" finish, someone walked in and in astonishment, asked me why I was painting white over the beautiful wood? What a great compliment on my work!
